I’ve been waiting to try pho for some time, finally get the opportunity and of course – even the tofu pho is made with beef stock (who’s ordering tofu in beef stock??).
So instead I ordered tofu & mixed vegetables with rice noodles and it was real good, my stupid boyfriend spent the whole meal going on about how great pho was though so I’m going to have to either find somewhere that has vegan pho, or make some.
Fresh rolls to start were the best, with a satay style dipping sauce. They’ve inspired me to check out the supermarket in chinatown and try to replicate this kind of food… I’ll keep you up to date with how to make these delicious rolls soon.
